Our pioneer OCEAN watch collection is named the 1908 Deep Wave in tribute to the 1908 decompression table by John Scott Haldane. Decompression sickness can happen when bubbles are formed in the body’s tissues and bloodstream caused from breathing from the nitrogen gas tank during a dive ascent and can result in death. Haldane to designed the decompression table for divers of the British Admiralty and it remained in use till 1955.

The decompression table is synonymous with time and calculating decompression stops is fundamental to any basic dive course. A uni-directional rotating bezel on a watch has always been used to keep track of time spent underwater as well for decompression stops. TWELF-X 1908 Deep wave watch series feature a 120 click unidirectional bezel to ensure that time is kept accurately.  The watch is water resistance to 200 meters or 656 feet and is suitable for adventures in the OCEAN.
