Highlining is a slackline discipline that is practiced at great heights that is commonly carried out between mountains, buildings, bridges or any other high places. Having said that, highlining is not just a sport of walking across rope or wire between two high points, it also challenges for a strong mental and physical determination of an individual. Slacklining, a very similar sport, gave rise to highlining. There are no many differences between the two very similar sports other than the fact that slackliners would be hanging just a few feet of the ground while highliners would be hanging hundreds of feet in the air.
