Diving Places - Palau - Philippines

Today, we are going to dive deep into Palau, Philippines. It is located to the south of the Philippines and is regularly described as 'an underwater paradise' in diving destination reviews. The places are well known for strong currents, so be prepared sit back for an awesome drift diving session! Palau is a diver’s dream as it offers a variety of things to see from macro to pelagic, in a single dive!

What did you like about the dive?

The stronger the current, the better the action! I really liked the thrill of facing off the strong currents in the waters of Palau, it is like watching television on fast forward mode and you don’t have to put in much energy.

What are the problems?

While drift diving can be adrenaline pumping, there is always the fear that the currents will drag you deeper into the ocean. Always check your depth gauge, always check your dive time and always make sure your dive buddy is near.

What have you learned from the dive?

I have learnt that not every dive is the same, especially in a drift diving environment where you must trust mother nature.

What watch do you use for the dive?
